Hello,

finally, after my long injury period lastyear I started training again and finished my first marathon since KL last yearlast Sunday. I participated in the Gold Coast Marathon, held just in front ofthe place where I am living at the moment. It was a great race with almost16,000 people competing in various races. The whether was perfect, hardly any wind,temperatures around 12 degree at the start and peaking20 degree during the race. The race is held along the Gold Coast, just adjacentto the beach through suburbs with such interesting names like Surfers Paradise,Main Beach, Broadbeach,Miami, Labrador…

I enjoyed the race (only thelast 8k were a little bit hard – but nothingcompared to the last 12k along Jalan Tun Razak and Duta in the KL marathon…)and I finished in 3h 15min 30sec, improving my PB from KL last year by almost15 minutes.
