My disappointed Hatyai marathon !!

Khee Meng,Terence,CCHOO and Me before start.

Hi,as you all know before we leaving to Hatyai,this year raining season still going on at south part of Thailand,I was informed by CCHOO that flood at outside part of Hatyai,However we just hope when we arrived that ,the flood didn't come. But finally we are wrong.....!!

Me,CCHOO,ChingTai,Tan Khee Meng and Terence,all in one Bus heading to Hatyai on 16/12 night 10.30pm from Puduraya.We met few others from Pacm members like Low,Khoo and his lady friend n AP Tan with his son,they all leaving by other bus.

When we reached restaurant before we reached kastam,rain didn't stop,but we manage to across the kastam,the road to Hatyai look ok,didn't have flood signal....!!

After manage check in hotel Lee Garden,we have our breakfast at lobby hall,then we went for jalan-jalan at Hatyai,at noon time...we went for register full ..no full no fun mah...hehehe..sky look ok..no rain ...we just pray tomorrow will be same.But we are wrong ....!!

The race set to start at 4am...we reached there about 3.30am,after took some photos at starting point..I went for toilet,then about 3.40am...heavy rain...!! All of runners look so upset...even 4am ,rain didn't stop...what to do ???

Lucky we have bought RM 2 raincoat..but not easy to start from raining....after we ran about 40 minutes,I saw front pack turn back ,and lot of other stand on official 4WD car....,I was inform that at about 10km..got flooded..so...just wait for my room mate Tan Khee Meng,then ,I and CCHOO ran with him,then due to he didn't wear raincoat,I ask him to go back first.I and CCHOO met Terence at halfway,accompany Terence slow run slow walk back to starting....!!

Three of us manage to toke photos at 42km mark...so sad ,this was my first time in my marathon history,didn't complete because of rain !!

Even organiser ask to return at 9am claim back finisher medal and surprise got trophy as souvenir..hahaha,But I will come next year ,if no flood.

Flood affect a lot of Malaysia tourist can't go back on daytime,most of them manage came back at evening...for us..lucky next day didn't affect..sky is clear...,But we saw Kedah is affect serious by flood...!!
